Hi,My Ryobi 30 Petrol with Brush Cutter attachment has so much vibration I cant use it..

the center bushings that holds the shaft center are worn and need to change. this damage is caused bu using a to heavy nylon and because of the damaged you will get vibration on all attachments used

Going to have to pull it apart down to the cable and see what is jamming it but be careful cause the coil spring in the may come out usuall just been pulled to hard and stuck

I think the model your speaking of is the RBC30. It is a 2 stroke mixture. The 430 models are 4 stroke and do not require mixing oil and fuel. They are made by Ryobi for Makita.

I just found out that the string head adaptor (arbor?) has left-handed threads...so try loosening it the other way. Here it is:

If the spark plug you have put in has the correct gap then u will next have to check or change the HT lead Change it if no spark is showing

Any local small engine service shop should have these parts in stock. Its called a 'primer bulb'.
Determine if the primer bulb is part of the carb or sperate from the carb with fuel lines connecting them. If seperate remember how the 2 lines get connected when you remove the bulb and replace with a new one. If a part of the carb...
You need to determine if the carb is a Zama or Walbro. It will have the name stamped on the carb. All Zama carbs use the same bulb. Walbro has a small and large bulb.
It would be worth while to install a new carb kit while you have the carb off and apart

it might have a easy start that wound make it seem like its sliping.change spark plug and gap at 030.see if it helps if not rebuild carb.

Hi there, takes a bit of working out without a manual, but try this....take bottom half of trimmer line spool off, get piece of spool line approx 60 cm, long and thread through centre holes, ( bit fiddly but ) pull line through until you have equal length on both sides, dont try and wind it up onto the spool, just put ends of line through outside cover holes, then lock spool in place in other half. now simply wind the knob at the end and the line should retract into the spool., sounds complicated but really isnt, best regards and good luck, Philbee
