Lid lock stuck....If I start the washer it will try and lock then say DL to tell me it wont lock. Then if I turn it off it will keep clicking and say DU saying it wont unlock but the lid is up. I have it currently unplugged so it doesn't keep doing it. I have also tried plugging it back in after an hour and got the same results

Ky, see if you can put the machine in the service mode by doing this: turn the washer on, select any one button except for power,start and stop. press and hold it for 3 seconds--release for 3 seconds--press and hold for 3 seconds--release for 3 seconds--press and hold for 3 seconds....if you entered it correctly all the indicators will light for 5 seconds and 88 will show in the 2 digit display..It will now go into a automatic test cycle. If no faults are found it should unlock the top. This auto test will go through c0 to c9, you will see it in the display. If this all fails, you can access your wash by pushing in the clips on the left and right side front of the washer lid. The whole top will lift up. I would still call for service while it's under warranty. Catriver...post back.

pull out the dispenser drawer push down on the tab remove the drawer and there is a cord you can pull to unlock the door pull on the door same time you pull the cord

sounds like lid lock failure clips each side just below top eadge of washer about 3-4 insches from outside edge use stiff putty knife to push clips in and release top should be able to acess switch from there swtich will need replacing

Try these steps:

1.) Take the washer outside. 2.) Loosen the two screws on the back panel and remove the back panel. The pump sits on the left-side of the opening. There's a black water hose with a metal clamp; 3.) squeeze the metal clamp with your fingers until it's loose enough to slide away from the pump. 4.) Separate the hose from pump and the trapped water will pour out and the door will then open; and 5.) clear any blockage from the drain hose and the pump.
