This is true, there is no direct output from the player to that model. You can however get a converter. The easiest path would be A/V to HDMI using a converter box made to make that connection. unfortunately the machine is not a recording machine IE: it is a player only. However in todays day and age you can pick up a good used one at the goodwill for around 10-20 bucks that can record. hook up is easy, one cable in one out and presto you can record on a blank tape. just remember the begining of a blank tape always has a few seconds of nothing on it so dont hit rec just as you are watching it start the machine about ten seconds early.
