Seeing as your blend door is actuated by an electric motor, we can rule out a vacuum issue. I would have to say, either there is something preventing the door from moving or the controller is bad. If you remove the actuator motor, you should be able to grab the end of the arm that moves the blend door with a pair of needle nose pliers and manually move the door, if it moves freely, I would replace the control head. Make sure you move the door back to the same position it was in before you move it to make sure it and the actuator motor are timed correctly.

Have you tried moving the latch on the door jam?

Try with your door open. Also be sure that you can operate it by hand. If not, the motor can't move it either.
Facing the outside of the door, if the hinges are on the right, it's a right-hand door.

Disconnect the door so the belt and pulleys will run without a large weight to move. If they move ok, reattach the door and try again but help the door move with your hand. If it moves ok then, the door levers and joints may be too stiff and need lubicating and wiggling until they move freely.

the door hinges move in or out to adjust that side of the door and the door lock latch moves to adjust that side.. loosen the door hinges just enough to move the door then -tension them to see how you are going. With the door open and the bolts slightly loose it may be possible to move the hinges by placing a long bar on the hinge past the door edge and hitting with a hammer

if you have heat and nothing blows on defrost then this is a mode door problem that is not changing from floor to vent to defrost mode.it could be the mode switch or the mode door not working.the mode door is on the air duct under the dash and you can manually move it when you disconnect the control with your hand it should move freely.some of these have a small motor that moves the door.and if you move the switch in different modes or better have someone move the switch while you see were the door is the one that is moving is the mode door.if it won`t move on defrost tap the motor and see if it starts to work.if it does then it will have to be replaced if not it could be a switch problem.

This happened to me. Turned out it was a gas valve fracture which had to be replaced by the gas company. That's if you have a gas dryer

It sounds like your door is jammed. Look at the rail on each side of the door and make sure there isn't a latch that is preventing the door from moving.

If the tubing broke off evenly at the door , have to replace the door . G E's cant replace the tubing INSIDE the door . A used appliance store may have a door .
