The images produces on my web cam are blurr and can't be viewed. if you pass an object infront of it you just see a shadow.

This camera needs to be sent away forrepairs. Just like a motor vehicle, some repairs to your camera require atechnical specialist to fix your problem.

the lcd panel may be out of alignment. there really isn't a way adjust it easily. it'll need to go in for repair to an infocus service center. try av solutions in ny. they're really good.

Please clean your webcam lens with a soft cotton cloth and try to adjust the front ring on the webcam lens and adjust focus. Image will get sharpen as you rotate the ring over to it.

There could be two reasons for the blurr ness

1)when you were handling the webcam you might have touched the lense of the cam so clean the lense of the cam.

2)The focus of the cam needs adjustment.....There will be something to adjust the focus....

No you do not have anything wrong. When ever light is passed through a lens it is inverted. Binoculars, and land viewing telescopes use a special lens combination or "erecting" prism to flip the image for you. The problem with that is it reduces the amount of light that passes through the telescope. It's not an issue for land viewing because these things tend to be close and bright. For astronomy objects are so faint that you actually get a better view when things are upside down.
