Hi all; i have my toshiba notebook a100, when i power on the notebook, the lights seems normal, and the fan is on as well, but no screen , a few second later, my notebook goes off and on a few times, and finally the system is totally off, may i ask all of you know what's happen to my notebook ? thanks so much for helping my e-mail is [email protected]

sounds like your screen inverter has stopped working.

Check your charger. It seems to indicate low batery and the charger may not work or the power socket has a faulty connection. Check for phisical damage in the power socket of you laptop.
Try to twist it or even push it in a bit while trying to switch on. Try also to remove the baterry and use the charger power supply only.
If nothing happens its very likely to be the charger.

Try removing the battery, plug the power cable into the laptop while it is already plugged into the wall then hold the power button down till it comes on. If/when it works, let it boot all the way, shut it down and put the battery back in. It should boot normal again.
It happens due to a relay tripping after a power surge. That procedure resets the relay. Works on a few name brand laptops, including Toshiba.

try to clean the memory the bronse pin use dry clothes or pencil eraser then put it back, if encounter same error maybe got problem with flex cable come from motherboard go to lcd panel

It is very possible your harddrive is wiped out...try getting a new one.

Remove the battery pack and power up the laptop from the mains only....then replace the power pack when the machine has booted

Try pressing FN/F5 keys simultaneously, or the key that toggles internal/external Display. Look for the double screen Icons on the keys.

Tap the Pause Key.

Restart and press and hold F8 key when Toshiba logo appears. When the boot Menu appears, select Last Known Good Configuration.

If all else fails ther should be a reset button on the side of the LT. Consult owners Manual for location

Ur laptop have hardware problem.Better to u take from nearest service center.First u check whether CD drive shows in My Computer or not.

LCD issue it needs repair..call tosh if your laptop is still in warranty

This needs BIOS Reprogramming. Go to the nearest service station for the Chip to be reprogrammed.
