I just dropped my phone (nokia 2320c) in the bathroom and when I put the battery back in and turned it on it displayed a white screen with the words "test mode" in red. It seems as though my phone is locked or something because it wouldn't let me do anything. it wouldn't even let me shut off the phone so I took out the battery, then took out the sim card and tried doing everything I could to get out of this "test mode" but everytime i put the battery in my phone It keeps putting me in "test mode". Is there anything I can do to take it out of this "test mode" or is my phone permanently broken? Thanks, Brandon

If you have a problem of local mode test mode in Nokia 2320 Classic. You can solve this problem by following a few simple steps as given in this post.Lock at the diagram bellow that will help you to solve Test Mode Local mode problem in Nokia 2320 Classic. Before removing this part that is identified with red line in above diagram replace battery and if batter can not solve this issue dis assemble mobile phone. The problem is with the sim card. try to remove the sim, clean it with a dry cloth and put it back in. if the problem is not solved, take back the sim to your network provider and get a replacement, asuming the sim is damaged

your card is trashed. the wwtnees corruped all your files. it you put it in a computer and it never registers than its offically dead

HI friend,
First of all I am not too old to be called as Sir alright?
Ok here is what you do,
remove the simcard from the cellphone, gently rub it clean with a clean soft cloth(a lil dilute spirit wud be helpful) and then insert the simcard back into the sim card slot.It works 99.999%

i suppose the phone has been by attacked by a virus. if you have entered unsecured sites or connected to an unprotected computer, this might happn. please take it to the nearest nokia customer care center to get it done.

I dropped my nokia 6133 - the battery came out. I put it back in and turned off and then turned the phone back on. I can get get and make calls but the screen is white - display came back on briefly but...
Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-5 or 6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.

It turns on but a blank white screen only shows
i had the same issue when my phone got slightly wet. try taking everything apart (sim card, battery, back). let them dry out for a little bit then after like a day or two put the phone back together. turn it on it will be a white screen for a little bit but give it like 2 or 3 mins and if should come back. I did this for my phone cuz i really needed the pictures off it and it worked! hopefully if will work for you too. GOOD LUCK!

Nokia 6288 wont turn on
If you encounter situation like below on your phone,
1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot.
2. Phone only able to boot-up to "Nokia" word screen.
3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that.
4. Error messages such as "Child Installer" keeps popping-up.

Do a Full phone formatting on your phone! as steps below,

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.

3. Switch-off your phone.

4. Press and hold 3 keys;

Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.

Remember, do not let go all of the keys and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!
