Windows XP has limitations on recognising too large NTFS disks. One of the solutions would be to format the entire disk as FAT32 or make a partition and format that as FAT32.

this is the problem usually caused by virus and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest imate serice centre,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed....

How yo perform the hard reset? the rear button is just a soft reset.
Well, you can open it removing the 6 gray ruber cap covering the bolts in the back cover. Under those caps you ll find 6 star bolt heads covered with a white seals, remove the seal, unscrew the bolts an open the phone inserting in the line your thumb nail or similar tool.
you ll find the battery attached with 3 wires. this connect and reconect it.

I am sad that the Imate Jama is not providing much use to you. However, it will be a useful one if you are going to explore its functionalities.
Anyhow, in regard with your problem, we cannot do anything with it, the only recommendation I could tell you is to bring your PDA to a service technician to further check the hardware error of it especially the touch screen does not working properly.

i have forgotten my password for imate pdal .now how can i get it or format my handset

1st take back up of the data then  do softreset then see or try to reduce some data from ur mobile then try else visit service center

* completely turn off the device * remove the battery * take a cotton cloth * hit it for some time, not very hot * press your mobiles screen with the cotton for 2/3 min, do it for 4/5 times, if no luck escalate it to vendor and don't tell them it is because of water drop otherwise warranty will be void. thanks Arun
