drive has lost its directory and boot segment address.
you have lost your drive functionality.
the drive would need to be much larger than average to bother fixing, but if you need the data, then you can send it in for repair. expect 500 to 2500 for data recovery/repair.

Power Supply. Does this mean the Hard Drive is now useless or can something still be done to fix it ?

There is a Windows fix for this. Windows offers a manual registry step by step instruction but here is their Automatic Fix it. Good luck and hope this solves your problem. Take Care!

Microsoft has a fix for external hard drives. It involves a registry change to accomodate USB peripherals. Hope this solves your issue. Good Luck!
