Xerox 5225 keeps showing error 124-373 and cant one to enter into set-up or status mode.How to correct this error?.I have jobs to copy for urgent meeting soon.your email is needed

Please review the fault code '124-373'.
The System Administrator Guide for the Xerox Workcenter 5225 lists 38 pages of fault codes but '124-373' is not among them.

I suggest you print (or display at least) the Error History Report, which will itemize and date all errors and faults. To do this:

  1. Press the Machine Status button of the control panel.
  2. Select the Faults tab.
  3. Select Error History Report.
  4. Press Start on the control panel.

Open left door after removing drum unit the machine will give you an error code 124-315
go to diagnostic screen ( 0+start ) and put the machine serial number

HI, I fix the problems as i just continue press the stop button and the power up the machine and the the error is dispapeared . My this will help u.

Our xerox workcenter 7235 fault code 024-360 and copy service is disabled
024 360 An error has been detected by the Controller during communications with the Printer. User intervention is required to Power Off/Power On the machine, Field Service is required if the problem persists. Printing is disabled.

Error mesage
NOTE: Some Status codes will not clear even though the problem has been fixed. Status codes that will not clear must be manually reset using the 'Fault Reset 14 Procedure'.
  1. Locate the [C] (Clear) button on the Control Panel, at the far right.
  2. Locate the Image Quality button, below the Auto on the Control Panel, toward the left side.
  3. Press the buttons in the following sequence within 4 seconds. Press [C] (Clear), press [Image Quality], press [C] (Clear) again, press [Image Quality] again.
  4. The error code should disappear. If the Status code does not clear, repeat step 3 until the status code clears; but no more than five times.
  5. Use the [10] and [1] buttons to enter 14 on the Display Screen, as if you were to make 14 copies.
  6. Press the [Start] button. The machine should be ready to use.
  7. Make a copy, to check that the machine is working properly
IF these steps do not work you will have to replace the fuser or fuser heat rod then perform the reset.
