Wacom Mouse XC-100-03 Right click doesn't work

The right click doesn't work. If I buy a new mouse for the wacom, can it be another style number, or will only the XC-100-03 work?

I'm not sure you answered my question. I'm talking about getting a Wacom mouse to replace the one that doesn't right click. I wasn't asking about a regular mouse. However, I should get a regular, non-wacom mouse, so you answered a question I didn't ask. I'm still curious about the Wacom mouse. But, if I can get a regular mouse and run it simultaneously with the Wacom, that would be nice.

Greetings,
You can buy any other style or brand of mouse and it will work right along side of the Wacom. I chose to keep my Logitech wireless mouse after installing my Wacom tablet because it provided a better feature set (i.e. more buttons ). I have had no issues. Please rate me well if this helped.
Take Care,

    Greetings,
Thank you for your feedback, I will try to explain more clearly in the future.

I understand that you were asking if you could just replace the mouse with the same model to get it to work with your existing set up. The point I was unsuccessfully trying to make is that it would be more beneficial if you just purchased a new and/or better mouse (since you will have to pay for a new one either way) that has more functionality than the 3 button scroll mouse that comes with the Wacom tablet.

    Thanks again,
    -WN

Wacom mouse KC-100-00

I would uninstall the drivers, reboot, and let your OS install the mouse. Then try to re-install the new drivers that were released by Wacom yesterday available at the link I provided. (You probably got them there, I don't know)
If it goes 'wonky' again, uninstall the new drivers and use the older ones provided on the website or just let you OS install if it will.

How can i install intuos gd 0608-u on pc running windows8.0?

The first thing you have to do is upgrade your Windows from version 8.0 to 8.1. Version 8.0 just has too many bugs plus it shouldn't automatically update anymore Check this MS page out.

Install the latest Windows 8 1 Update Windows Help

Here are the bare bones manual installation steps from the page:
Install the update manually

Make sure your PC is plugged in and connected to the Internet using a non-metered connection. Don't disconnect, unplug, or turn off your PC while the update is being installed.

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap
Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right
corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up,
click Settings, and then click Change PC
settings.)

Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click
Windows Update.

Tap or click Check now.

If updates are found, tap or click View details.

In the list of updates, select the update containing
KB 2919355, and then tap or click Install.

If you're prompted for an administrator password or
confirmation, enter the password or provide
confirmation.

After the installation is complete, restart your PC and
sign in.

Note: If you don't see KB 2919355 in the list of available updates, you might be missing one or more required updates. Follow the previous steps to check for updates, install all important updates, particularly KB 2919442, restart your PC, and then check for KB 2919355 again.

Once you successfully update to Windows 8.1 we can tackle your Wacom products. There have been plenty of documented problems getting the Wacom Intuos Drivers working in Windows 8.x. Just google on "Wacom Intuos Driver Windows 8.1"

First get the latest Intuos driver version from the Wacom website.

I couldn't find any separate drivers for the Wacom mouse

Is the Wacom XC-100-00 mouse a field repairable item? If so, how do you open the casing?

Not really, but there should be screws underneath the unit to unscrew and it clips apart.

My Wacom Intuos3 tablet won't switch into pen mode

The winning answer came courtesy of Mr Benedikt Schmitt of Wacom Europe, who offered the following solution: from the Windows Device Manager, disable the “Wacom Virtual Hid Driver” device. (Go to Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Device Manager, find the driver, right-click it and choose “Disable”.) One reboot later (welcome to Windows-land, circa 2008?), everything works as desired. Pressure and tilt sensitivity inside Photoshop still work, and the pen functions just fine in the rest of the Windows desktop. The absolute mapping makes it an absolute pleasure to point quickly and precisely. It makes my laser mouse feel rather clumsy navigating a large 24′ screen!

The mouse on my Wacom Intuos tablet is not working.

I know this question was asked a long time ago, but I just had this similar problem and found a solution to it.

1. Install the latest Wacom drivers for your device
2. Open the Wacom Tablet Properties from the Start menu.
3. Click on the Mouse tool
4. Click on the Mapping tab halfway down the screen
5. Change the mode from Mouse to Pen

My Wacom Intuos3 tablet won't switch into pen mode

I had the same problem with my Intuos3 on Vista. Tech support suggested the following.

Do this.....Go to Start--->control panel---->system(in classic view)---->device manager--->click on "human interface devices"--->then click on "Wacom virtual HID driver" and right click on that and disable it. Your computer will ask you to restart and you will want to do that.

Everything works fine now.

Wacom tablet stopped working, blue light on.

Since you are running Windows Vista on your PC this is the driver you should have downloaded.

Serial cables are not hot swappable. The computer and tablet should be turned off before you plug them in.
