I have 10 unopened messages, a box comes up that says " there is an error in opening this message. There is not enough memory". Nothing happens when I click on the okay box.

Clicking 'OK' just acknowledges the message.

I hope you have some kind of antivirus protection because those might be messages you really don't want to open at all.
If they are duplicates, they might be dangerous.

If you have another email address, try to send one of them and open it there.

Also, check your memory (RAM) availability by pressing 'Ctrl, Alt, Del' at the same time to bring up the Task Manager, open the 'Performance' tab and see if you are really that low on RAM.

In my windows Live Mail I cannot delete files in either the Junk or Deleted boxes. I simply get "an unknown error has occurred"


Robin L have the same problem so I am interested in any response as well
I have found that some unopened messages will not delete until I open them and other opened messages will not delete until later on
I believe the problem is in the live mail program as it has appeared since win 10 was installed then deleted along with unable to fix live calendar keeps coming up in the notifications

it refers to the memory selected for to be the location for the final result ..or there is not enough in the C drive ..if the drive is made too small

While running a program, an error message which says "protected memory violation" was displayed and the calculator stuck and i can't do anything.i cannot close,reset it nothing.can you help...

Application functions cannot be called from within the application. If you try to call a function using the
application's problem-entry dialog boxes, the error message, Protected memory violation, will appear.

Exit and re-enter the application to ensure normal operation.

since you tried everything..let me give yu the ultimate solution

1.go to file manager and backup phone on memory card and remove it
2.go to settings<phone managment<factory settings
3.enter password and reset the phone
4.after resetting insert memory card and restore

It seems your message box is full. delete all the messages from sent box first to clear some memory. Then try to see if you can get the unread messages.
