Robert!

First see the FIXYA link below.

Robert, sounds like you need to get to your BIOS settings... different mfg. have different KEYS to press just as your ROYAL starts to start (or boot up).

Sometimes it's the F1 key... for others it's the ESC or Escape key and some use any ONE of the other "F Keys".

The trick is to GET THERE JUST as you see the FIRST screen flash ~ if not slightly before.

In the BIOS you should see a series of OPTIONS... DO NOT change *any* of them ~ except the "DATE AND TIME".

PS: It's the Holiday Season and WE give you permission to get yourself a NEW computer! At 73 ~ YOU deserve it.

Note:
Robert, your Royal looks like a older puppy... Just know MOST systems have a BATTERY that keeps your date and time SET... even when power is disconnected. It's a good idea to change that battery every 3 ~ 5 years OR you may find yourself adjusting date and time often. That battery is called a CMOS battery.

They are about the size and appearance of a US Quarter.

I have baught new IFB microwave. On the first day when we checked everything was working except it is not heating anything. Technician said need to replace magnetron. Please suggest will it impact somehow...

If magnetron is bad out of the box, I would take it back to where ever you bought it and get a replacement. Magnetron being bad is usually due to a severe jolt, as in dropped box, so what else may go prematurely, why risk it, get another microwave.

I have got a new Navman EZY40 & iam struggling to reset time & date..Any suggestions please??

I own a Navman MY55T and I honestly don't think you have to reset date and time. I never have for mine.

I have had a look online for you for your model of Navman and could not find anything within the user manual except how to change the format display for day/month/yer or month/day/year.

My only thoughts Sync it with your computer and it may pick up your computers time and date like many other peripherals do when they sync to your computer. Or it may well automatically change when it picks up GPS info as you use it in your car.

I have had my S9600 for 4 years, for most of that time, when i changed the batteries, all my settings remained the same. Now, when i change the batteries, every setting has returned to factory standard...

No internal battery. After the batteries are in the camera for 2 hours, there is enough charge in the camera to hold on to settings for 6 hours. If you take longer than that to install fresh batteries, the settings are lost. Here's what the manual says:

DATE/TIME

DATE/TIME

OKOK:At the time of purchase and after leaving the camera for a

long period with the batteries removed, settings such as the

date and time are cleared. Once the AC power adapter has

been connected or the batteries have been installed for 2

hours or more, the camera settings will be retained for

roughly 6 hours even if both sources of power are removed.

Just baught the stove a little over a year ago and everything works on it except the heating element for the oven quit working one day just like that. i can hear everything in the back clicking like its...

have you checked the continuity of the heating element if there is no continuity then it needs to be replaced, you also need to check the wiring to the element and make sure it is good if all is good on that end then you will need to replace the electronic control.

I have a ROYAL DM80nx organizer and need to know how to change the date and time on it.

press the time button and the press button at the bottom with a key on it. (it has 't.set' in grey writing just above). On the screen - at the top - the first letter should be flashing. To be honest I don't know what it means at the top but you can use the arrow keys to go navigate. The 1st line has the day at the right. The 2nd line has the date - YYYY - MM - DD. On the 3rd line is the time. A=AM, P=PM. HH - MM - SS (Seconds cannot be set but reset to 0 whenever the time is changed).
