I have an hp 3015 upgrade error how do i fix it

    attempted to install printer on a new computer and printer control panel screen now says "upgrade error contact HP support" with the red ! light blinking.

    After removing the cover for the seperator and then replacing, I get the same Upgrade Error Contact HP Support

Sounds like a bad formatter. I would try a firmware upgrade first and if unsuccessful, would replace the formatter. These formatters are infamous for failure.

The firmware is corrupted, formatter (mainboard) on the printer is damaged, there is nothing you can do to fix it.
