I have a 55in roku tcl tv has a black line going down the middle and beside that is a bunch of colored lines on one side what is this

I would think that someone, somehow has hit the TV screen with something. My TV screen has a black line going across the middle horizontally and it intersects with a colored line going down the side vertically. Wher the 2 lines intersect is where it was shot with a bb.

1. My Sony KP-57WS500 TV is turning blue after abut 3 minutesof operation. It stays that way for about 30 miunes and comes back with pictures again, but with predominatly blue color. 2. Sometimes the TV...

Sounds like the picture tubes are failing, common on sony. do you notice any thin horizontal lines? You mite get lucky and be able to adjust the voltages. Remove back cover and look inside to see which tubes are lighting up.The front panel below the screen will come off and behind it is a small access cover.remove it. there you will find the voltage controls (its a plastic square with 6 knobs). 2 knobs for each tube, 1 is focus the other is the voltage labeled "screen". they are marked so look closely. Green is always in the middle but sometimes they flip the controls for red and blue so pay attention to which you are controlling .slowly adjust screen voltages to see if you can get it to stay on. If you over do it those thin horizontal lines will pop up and the tv will shut off again. If you already have lines back off the voltage by turning knob to the left slowly until they diappear. If that seems to fix it but the problem but it comes back later, then the tubes are shot. good luck!

My tv 65rpwv600 just starts showing a blue colors on screen and after that it turns BLUE. i can't watch it but i can hesr it and also before this problems some very light lines (horizontals) were on the...

you either have a screen control drifting or a bad blue crt
you can access the screen controls behind the speaker grill and the black cover behind it the blue will be on one end or the other
there are 6 controls three are focus three are screen
turn the blue down slightly and see if it clears up before it shuts down the deflection if it continues to drift you might want to order a screen controls block and change it out

Horizontal Line running down my Laptop Computer Screen

You can try changing resolution to something else and then back.
You can see if your colors are 32-bit.
The fact that you "fixed" it is probably an coincidence. Once you start getting anomalies like that, it usually means a new screen.

Red/Orange horizontal lines

it could be that the tv convergence circuit is going bad. One shure way of finding out is to go to the tv feature menu(picture, audio etc.) and select the customer convergence setting, you should get a cross hair pattern(cross in middle of screen). that cross should be white and by aligning the red or blue colors they should move left, right, up or down

Screen fades to blue.

The Blue SCREEN setting is too high. These adjustments are located inside the TV behind the front panel. There are two screws behind covers and then a wooden panel to remove to access the adjustments. The leftmost set are for BLUE, the middle are GREEN, and the right are RED. The top row are FOCUS and the bottom are SCREEN. Focus will focus/unfocus the tube and Screen will adjust the power of that tube (there are 3 tubes, one for each color). If Screen is adjusted too high, horizontal lines will appear (my TV had red lines, but I played around with the knobs and saw that it could happen on any of the colors). Additionally, if SCREEN is set even higher than that, the tube could go so high that it turns the whole screen that color (in your case, blue). If this happens the TV will shut down, probably due to either overheating or overvolting. To fix this issue, turn the appropriate SCREEN dial down until the lines go away. In your case, you want to turn the lower left dial down. Don't turn it too far down, if you turn it more than necessary the TV can give you an AKB error (noted by the STANDBY light flashing a sequence of 5 blinks).

White horizontal line down middle of TV screen

caution whenever you see horizontal line please reduce brightness of your tv for safety of crt. your problem in vertical section only mostly due to loose contact in connector, print or loose components.
