Is unit where there is no heat? Your fridge thermostat measures temperature in the refrigerator section. So if it’s 32 degrees where Fridge is located, then it doesn’t have to run to maintain 35-37 degrees inside fridge section. Thus feeezer doesn’t get cold enough to freeze.
Have you checked to see if the system has enough freon ? If the system is low or empty the low pressure switch will prevent power from going to the compressor clutch.
this could be your stat has gone or you have an insulation leak gas leak you will need a fridge engineer believe me it will save you loads a call out should cost you around 25 to 30 but its cheaper then any thing else ok
I was writing a big note here before then hit the wrong button, it was just a bunch of jargon anyway. Yes it is the condenser fan motor causing your problems. Doesn't cool the refrigerant properly than nothing works. I would change the fan before it causes any damage to the compressor.
check the switches inside the panel where water and ice come out. that front panel comes off. this happened to me those switches are mounted on plastic mine broke and I used zip ties to put them back in place. The switches were just dangling there.
