Whirlpool Cabrio washer is blinking uL HELP! - Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SBT Top Load Washer

the solution to this problem is not what whirlpool says in the manual, Think about it, if the machine detects an unbalanced load, would it not try to balance first, then if that fails, give the UL message? Why say UL and then try to balance the load?
To fix this problem, you would have to lay the machine flat, remove the centre allen wrenched bolt, take the rotor off (with the magnets). remove the four bolts holding the windings to the machine, remove the windings, unplug the wires and speed sensor. Now, if you examine the plastic housing of the windings you will see cracks in the plastic. I remember a job I had on this very issue, and actually never could fix the darn thing. I replaced the speed sensor and and harness, and the problem remained. Had that winding in my hands and probably missed the cracks that were probably evident. I won't miss to check that next time. Thanks.
