HAVING TROUBLE PUTING IN THE CORRECTION TAPE

I HAVE TROUBLE INSTALLING THE CORRECTION TAPE IN MY TYPEWRITER AT WORK. IT IS A BROTHER ML-100 TYPEWRITER.

    I can install the correction tape, but it will not erase the letters when the CORRECT button is hit.

    We have replaced the correction tape several time but it won't correct. The tape is put on correctly and.....nothing!

    I think the tapes just get dried out and don't work or there was a whole shipload that was missing the adhesive. I have the same problem and am using the original manufacturer's products.

    I'm looking for instructions to install the correction ribbon, the old one broke so I have no referance.

Brother ml 100 can't get it off the correction tape mode

First remove the correction tape, then turn it off and back on and let it do it's reset, if it will now type OK check to be sure you have a dry L/O tape, if it is at all tacky replace it with a dry L/O tape.

Installing correction tape

The full spool goes on the L. side of the printer it goes thru guides on both sides of the printer and thr empty goes on the R.
Be sure the dull side of the tape faces the paper.

Brother ML100 typewriter

Make sure that the correction tape is place in the guides one on each side small metal guides, remove ribbon to see, it should be behind ribbon guide (closes to you). Dry lift-off tape only(#3015)
