Paper really jammed into my printer

Hi, I have an HP PSC 1510xi All-in-One printer/scanner/copier that has paper really jammed into it. I can't get it out and the printer won't even turn on now; like it's dead.
Any ideas???
Thanks.

Please take it to the nearest service centre, if the paper is so tight, it needs to be open up to release the paper

When i try to copy, paper goes into the printer and gets stuck mid way followed by error message "paper jam, clear ...". If i press the okay button again, the paper is ejected out.

Make sure the access panel/bar at the back of the printer is fitted in properly.
If you have removed it to clear a jam, it may not be seated properly.
Try to see if perhaps some paper is stuck in the rollers, or maybe your rollers are sticky
.
Use correct weight of paper - it does not really like card stock that much.
Make sure Junior has not shoved a pencil into the printer tray, etc.
Let the panel know if you were able to clear the jam and how you did it.

I'm going to go crazy!!!!!!!! HP PSC 1510xi All-in-one

Hi guys -

Well, I have to say - I have had HP printers for years and loved them - UNTIL I got an all-in-one! I have the 1315.

HP has NOT figured out the all-in-one printer package yet. There are software issues, and always always ink or paper issues. The scanner can be adjusted, but only so much, giving a really strange appearance to 3D items. Only paper items can scan well on it!

Overall, the best fix for an HP all-in-one is seriously to stop wasting time and ink and to get a different printer. I'd only had the 1315 for a month when I waived the white flag to wasting my time and effort. I bought a little cheap HP 3930, and it hasn't given me any trouble at all.

HP needs to work on the all in ones before continuing to market them. If you notice, there are new models constantly. That is because the figure out one issue, and instead of making a fix for it, stop support and put out a new printer instead, expecting everyone to just "upgrade" to the next new printer. Nope - not gonna happen.

What HP does have in its favor on printers, is that it is the only brand I've owned that didn't end up leaving "junk" on the paper - because of the printer cartridge heads, the prints are very crisp and clean, without overspray or dots.

Also very important on HP printers - be sure you get INKJET supplies if you bought an inkjet model. The papers are different, and many times, the laserjet supplies just won't go through their inkjets without jamming.

On the paper jam issues - while you cannot see a jam, it is somehow misreading the paper. Be sure you have the default paper size set correctly for what you are printing on. Also, take off the back and make sure there isn't just one piece of fuzzy paper back there. It doesn't take a full sheet of paper to give the paper jam error message - only a shred or slight piece where it doesn't belong. The track the printer heads run on is heavily greased and everything sticks to them! : (

I had to take the back off, used canned air to blow out the machine from the back, did it again from the front, uninstalled it and reinstalled it - that seemed to solve the paper jam issues.
I hope that might work for you.
