Set the reception mode to A.M.

Set your answering machine to auto answer.
♦ Your answering machine must be set to answer on a maximum of two rings.
If not, you may not be able to receive faxes sent by automatic dialling.
♦ If your answering machine has a toll saver function, make sure that it will
answer by the fourth ring.

you need to program you machiner to auto answer it is on manual answer and will only keep rining

Is there paper in the FAX Machine? Is it in Auto? Does the FAX answer when you dial it? Or does the number keep ringing? You will hear tones once the FAX answers.

Reading all the specs I can find it is a one line fax machine.

chose from setup menu on fax erase document in memory or etc.
