The most common reason that causes a fuser error is its failure to reach operating temperature. If the fuser area can be accessed, check to see if there is noticeable heat present. If not, the fuser may not be getting the required voltage to bring it to temperature and you may need technical help to determine the exact cause of the error.

HP Laserjet 3550 Fuser Jam Error 13.20 Had it in

You need to ask them to change the fuser..The fuser is the part of the printer that actually melts the toner onto the page. Here is a website that gives you more info on the fuser so they can't B.S. you anymore..either the fuser works or it doesn't..

HP Colour Laserjet 3550 printing problems

I can tell you that it is NOT the Fuser unit. I would change the drum unit first. This would be the most likely cause.

Hp 3550 fuser error 50.1 and it is cold.

Hello,
The fuser error 50 means that the fuser heater lamp is blown and you need to get another one (whole assembly). I personally use printerworks at www.printerworks.com to order a new one if you want to do it yourself, otherwise you will need to drop it off at an HP Authorized repair center..

Good Luck!

50.1 Fuser Error

50.1 error is usually a fuser low temperature error. The thermistor (electronic termometer) that controls high and low temperature is either obstructed, damaged or the heating element inside the fuser has been brokem or damaged. Carefully remove and inspect the fuser. If you have no obstructions then the fuser will have to be replaced.

Here's a link to the full service manual in PDF for free. Good luck.
