Cant connect camcorder missing driver. does nto recognize the device. Lost the disk. for jazz camcorder hdv 180 12 meg pix. where can i get driver info and dowload to recognize my device?

ive already sent a request for thsi info. Didnt recognize my credit card and had problem so i used another one. Please check and dont rebill for same question and support thanks. two different cards.

You can download the driver free from the manufacture's website. It would be under the support or download tab on their page.
First download the driver. Once downloaded, double-click on the downloaded file so it extracts itself into your pc. After it completely installs, reboot pc, then turn on camera and lastly, connect the usb cable.

You can use any generic micro-usb to usb cable and charge through your computer. I lost my stock charger and had a micro-usb from another camera

Have a Jazz Elite HDV188 lost the CD for drivers/ installation, anyone know where I can get the drivers online, preferably free.

see on internet if you can get the driver for your unit
if not you will have tosee you provider for a copy of cam software you must be able to find it
good luck...

It appears that you are missing a driver from Canon for your camera. FireWire is an unusual interface and most PCs were not plug-and-play for this interface.
