Check lan card led blinking pattern., Replace lan card(Jetdirect card 620n) & check, mostly lan card issue might be there..

Add Printer/Local/create a new port/standard TCP/IP/insert IP address - can be found on plotter config/load driver

If HP don't support it for Vista you will not be able to get a driver unless you are willing to pay a programmer several thousands of pounds to go into the Vista OS and findout what information it needs so that he can write the drivers. He would also need developer ststus from Microsoft for the source codes etc. Either bin Vista (it's being replaced later this year) or buy anther plotter.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. (HP ****!!)

***try to clean sensors: maybe it's dust on them.

Then if you are running latest Windows versions, you'll need a driver. Hp has dicontinued your plotter.

If that does not work try the driver for the designjet 500 or 430 sometimes a like model driver will work.
