Possible that the safety link lever is not disengaging . The program is not fully completing to release or the lever is stuck within the loading door latch.
you will need to look at releasing by using a scewdriver from below , the oil and set after inspection of the latch.

My Samsung VRT washer was working fine. The cycle appears to be finished but the door remains locked. I get no response from any of the buttons. You would think that the washer wasn't getting any...

I don't know if I have the same model SAMSUNG front loader, but I have a similar problem. The door has decided to stay locked at the end of the cycle. I can turn it off and on and even send it through another cycle, but at the end of the washing, it drains, goes to END but does not go the extra step of unlocking, like it usually would about 1min after ending the cycle.

My clothese have been through about 6 different cycles, hoping it will magically clikc open at the end. I assume they are very clean, but getting dizzy.

Any help out there?

When the remaining time is one minute but wait for long time but can not open the door

The door locks need to 'cool down' after the end of the cycle. So with one minute remaining you will have to wait for the cycle to finish this minute and a further 2 minuter approx for the door to release. Thats how the machine is designed to work unless there is a seperate door release feature.
If there is you should find the instructuions in the hand book

Control lock light will not go off.

Do you have any error codes?

Does water remain in the washer after the final spin?
If water remains in the washer after the final spin, then the door will not unlock. Drain/Spin or Spin Only to remove any remaining water from the washer. The door should unlock at the end of the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light on?
If the Add A Garment light is on, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed once. Pressing the Start button will restart the washer at the same point where it left off in the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light off?
If the Add A Garment light is off, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed twice. The door will not immediately unlock while the cycle is running due to a possible high-water level in the washer, high-water temperature, tumbling or spinning. It may take up to five minutes for the washer to stop spinning and draining before the door will unlock. You will hear the door click when it unlocks.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
  2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

Cycle finished but door won't unlock, please help

normally, front loading machines have this bypass cables in case this things happens, if there is a small opening at the front to acces the drain filter, open it up then look for a small plastic pc with a ring at the end. this is the pull release cable of the door lock. pull it downwards and the door will be released.

if you do not have the small opening to access the drain filter, you can tilt the machine to its back, ( be carefull, its very heavy) then reach for the plastic ring underneath to pull to release the door lock.

tnx 4 using fixya..
