Can I charge a Casio Exilim battery throug USB to my PC

No. The EX-Z60 does not charge the battery through the USB port. You need to use the supplied charger. Alternatively, if you have the EX-Z60DX cradle, you can plug the camera into the cradle and plug the cradle into a wall outlet. However, using the cradle will not let you charge the camera through the USB port either.

Casio exilim ex-z33 not connection to computer vial usb cord...error message comes up saying device exceeds power limits of it hub port. please advise....

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My computer no longer recognizes my Casio Exilim Camera

I ended up solving this by briefly removing the memory card and the battery from the camera, then reinserting them. This seemed to re-set everything and it then all worked well!

Casio Exilim digital camera installation difficulties.

Try to move it to the memory card and have the computer read the card.

USB cable

i think it uses a standard 5 pin usb cable. but to make sure, you can simply bring the camera with you when you go buy the cable and you can try it at the store.

Casio Exilim ex-z40 won't down load

Try reinstalling your camera drivers. You need to uninstall it first while docking station is removed. Then reinstall your camera software through the cd that comes with it then try plugging it in again either on the same usb slot or a different usb slot. Then try docking the camera again if theirs any interruptions. Usually if you transfer the docking stations usb cord plug to a different usb slot, the transfer goes haywire. Try transferring to a different usb slot...

If all else fails, get a card reader for your cameras memory card, it is way faster...
