Is there a reset button for a Dremel Multi Pro?

Mine suddenly "died" while in use, although the tool had minimal stress at the time. ( Running on speed 4, sanding a small piece of maple ) I don't think it is the brushes, as there are generally noticeable signs ( Smell ) when they are going out. ( Not sure on these, as I am only used to burning up brushes on much larger tools )

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I cannot find any form of a reset button; nor can I find the instruction manual.

When the brushes go on my Dremel, it just stops, sometimes erratically - no smell or burning.

My dremel multi-pro model 770

Hi Matthew.

I'll probably speak for most of the experts here in asking you to re-post with a clearer question. It looks like it's likely about a Dremel multi-pro 770, but there are a lot of things that could be asked about one.

Cheers

How do i attach the drill bit to my dremel 300

You can use a drill that fits directly ( one size) or you can use a small chuck made for the Dremel. example: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Dremel-1-32-in-Multi-Pro-Tool-Chuck-4486/100531881

Where is the fuse for the dremel 300 series

there is no fuse in this tool, you have another problem and I would go to Dremel.com and talk to their tech support and also download a breakdown for this tool.

I own a Dremel model 395 type 5 variable speed and it suddenly stopped working. I was wondering if it was common for the switches to go bad or if it's known for other parts to cause it not to turn on.

I would recommend going to Dremel.com and asking their tech section about this. I have one also and mine works fine other than a small amount of heat at the spindle area.

I cant loosen the head on the dremel 300. When I push the button and try to remove the head all I can hear is some clicking and it just wont let go the attachment

Another suggestion: you could put a point on that rod with a grinder or a file, or a dremel, and it's good as new.

Charlie

Could I get a "problem solved" / "fixya" rating on this -- there are icons at the bottom of this posting I believe.

thanks...

and on the neck of the dremel there is a shaft stop button

push the button and manually rotate the dremel head till

it clicks then hold the button and use the wrench to loosen the bit
