Hello,

Try use another battery, see if it charges, if not, the problem is not battery problem,the problem could be either of any of this two, it might be a charger problem, i will suggest you try using a similar charger to charge the phone, see if it will charge, if it is not charger problem, then, the problem is the charging port of your phone. The charging port of your phone is bad and will need to be replace. once the charging port is replaced, the problem is solve.

JUST DO A RESET TO YOUR PHONE..IF IT DOSENT WORK USE SONY ERICSON UPDATER SERVICE TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE...IF THE SERVICE SAYS NO FIRMWARE UPDATE THEN U NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER(FIND IT ON GOOGLE MAPS) OR BUY YOUR OWN SERVICE TOOLS LIKE SETOOL BOX

my phone is the same model and did this but when i charged it, after about an hour it would come up with 'charging error stop ' and when i unplugged it, it hadn't even charged at all. and then the other day it just wouldnt charge, i plugged it in, it said it was charging but it wasnt. in the end, it worked by keeping the phone switched off and charging it while i was turned off. so try that, if not then i really dont know sorry
