Depending on where the paper jam happened and how you cleared it, you could have either "knocked the copier for a loop" or actually damaged the print carriage. The first thing I would do in your shoes is to turn off the copier and unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Wait about 30 seconds or so to make sure any errors being held in the copier's memory by any residual electrical charge clears.
Plug the power cord back in to the back of your product and turn it on. My guess is that you'll be prompted to go through a cartridge alignment procedure. That may well clear up the problems you see.
Just in case, I'm posting a link to HP.com to instructions on how to clearn the electrical contacts on the print cartridges and print carriage. There are also instructions on this page regarding latching cartridges. These seem to be fairly easy processes, but if not done correctly, can result in continuing errors:
