Check your PSP firmware revision, apparently some firmware revisions from 3.60 - 3.73 can cause this issue. Most people that experienced it reported that updating to firmware revision 3.8 resolved the issue completely. 3.9 is available now and should work as well. Download and instructions here:

My wlan does not work. it says internal error

If your PSP is still under warranty, bring it back to SONY.
If not, do so anyway, or to other smaller electronic repair Companys, which are usually cheaper!
The WLAN switch might be somehow disconnection!
- Make sure that your Network Settings are all correct!

How to turn on the WLAN switch on the psp system it says a connection error has occurred

For PSP 1000s, the WLAN switch is on the left side of the PSP.
For 2000s & 3000s, the WLAN switch is on the top of the PSP.
For PSP Gos, I dunno, lol!
