Question about Televison & Video

My sanyo DVR-V100E combi dvd/vcr recorder has frozen. I put in a dvd and i can't get it out. I turn it on and then it says to wait... once it's run through it's inital boot up phase and i press the eject button for the dvd. the screen says 'open'. the tray doesn't open. the dvd keeps spinning around. it won't turn off and none of the buttons will work. I have been looking for a manual DVD eject button but can't find one. Can anyone help please?

Sanyo DVR-V100E DVD recorder +VCR - will this model record any terrestial digital channels?

It does NOT have a built in freeview tuner. You would have to connect a Freeview box to one of the scart sockets and set it to record from the AV channel the box is connected to.

Maybe you need to wait sometimes for about five minutes to allow for autotuning seeing that it is a DVD/VCR combo. If after minutes it still asks you wait then you have an initialisation fault where it needs to be reflashed or repaired.

Where can i get dvd discs for my sanyo dvr v100e

You can get them just not in stores they typically only carry the latest and greatest.
I have done some searching and found a few resources to get them fairly cheap as well.

SANYO dvr 100e with REMOTE CAN I GET A CODE

You could get a universal remote that will let you operate multiple devices all from the same remote. You would probably need to check it to see if it would control the monitor, but you might be able to treat it as a TV.

Sanyo dvr v100e has various problems.Formats disc records but willnot play back recording on some of the discs

I had the exact same problem and fixed it easily, if you would like me to instruct you on how to repair the unit just email me on- [email protected]

I will not go into detail now because you asked this question a year ago and maybe you no longer have the DVD player or the problem.

Sanyo DVR-DX600 Region Code

Hi,

Could you pls try:
1. Remove DVD or video from the player.
2. Press the ‘Set-up’ button on the remote control.
3. Select the ‘System Info’ mode from the on-screen menu.
4. Using the remote control 10-key type in ‘1101′
5. ‘Region code’ should appear as an option on the ‘System Info’ menu. Initially the region code will be set to 2. Press ‘0′ on your remote control using the 10-keys to set to multi-region.
6. Press ‘OK/Enter’ on the remote control.
7. Finish by pressing the ‘Set-up’ button once more.
This was actually intended for a Sanyo DVR-V100E &HVRDX610 but I was made to understand should also work for DVR-DX600. This was originally posted here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

How Do I hook up my Sanyo DVW -7000 To my Dishnetwork Box to record?

Connect the "Out to TV"video and audio on the DVR box to the "Video in and Audio In" on the VCR ...unless it's a single screw type connector on the DVR then hook THAT to the "In from ANT/cable" on the VCR
