Screen is blank - grey with no features - no response

You will need to use iTunes to restore an iPhone since you only get a grey screen.

same problem, broke my screen, ordered a new screen off ebay and replaced it. now it works fine most of the time but sometimes external display freezes. sometimes goes black, sometimes goes multicolor pixelated (full screen, in blocks, or lines) when this happens sometimes touchpad still works, others not. removing battery usualy temporarily fixes.

this works for us.

should see the normal display then.

take it to a repair shop and have the LCD replaced on it.

it needs to be replaced, i went to WWW.HTCLCD.COM for my replacement LCD only cost $20 and came with the T5 Torx screwdriver
