Hi Luce n Steve, To quote JC at Photo.Net: "sometimes the rewind function "gets stuck" if the camera thinks a previous rewind did not complete successfully. The solution is to reset it by forcing a rewind operation. Just press the two rewind buttons simultaneously: on the left side of the lens and just behind the shutter release. (They are marked and the manual explains how to force a rewind.) I did exactly this, and my next roll of film loaded without problems." Hope that help you folks.

How to rewind/fast forward trough currently listening segment?

Touch the screen, and 'reverse', 'pause', and 'forward' icons will momentarily appear on the lower portion of the screen. Before the icons vanish, touch either the forward or reverse icon and continue to hold your finger on the icon without lifting it off of the screen. Fast forward or rewind will then begin, at a rate of 5 seconds per second held. I am told after holding for 15 seconds or longer the speed of the fast forward may increase (true for other Coby models I have owned), but so far I have had no luck getting this to occur with my MP828.

The rewind button on my diana camera is stuck OUT - as well as that I can't rewind my film as the rewind lever is stuck - can you please help?

Take your camera to photo developer who has the dark room. They will open your camera in dark room and remove the film without any damage to it. Once film is out you can see whats actually the problem, it can be gear tooth misaligned or something.

Plug/wire is stuck partially out (4-5 inches)pressing on rewind button nothing happens....just stuck!

This usually means the cord got twisted over itself. Pull it completely out and give slight resistance on cord and rewind it again.

The pull cord will not engage the flywheel. it pulls our with no resistance.

The rewind ratchet drum has steel balls that engage, they could be stuck with old grease, take it off (reverse threads) and clean it and oil it.

Rewind button is stuck

It can definitely be fixed but let's try one thing before forking over few bucks to technician. Assuming it is a SLR camera, When you rewind, hold the rewind knob pushed in and try it. If you have a point and shoot, let me know which model. I'll be ready to assist when you respond either way.-James

I want to know how to rewind a film reel or reverse an Elmo FP-A movie projector. I have an old Elmo FP-A movie projector that works fine. I do not have the instruction manual that would explain how to...

There are 3 round knobs and 1 Autostart switch on the control panel. The key to rewinding this machine is by pushing the gray button down, while turning the Motor Knob to the "Run" position. Of course you'll need to start the original film back on its reel, directly. (Do not thread the film as you would normally.) BTW, you can show your films in reverse by using the Reverse button on the motor switch while its running. Hope this helps. Now, if I can find someone who can guide me in re-assembling my Elmo projector's lens, which I dis-assembled in order to clean the crud off the multi-lenses in the main lens unit itiself.

Rewind on my camera wont turn

Has the rewind knob become unscrewed or just won't turn? It does have to be turned clock-wise to rewind the film. If you would happen to turn it counter-clockwise, it would either jam or the knob itself would become undone from the rewind shaft.
