My LG dlg2532 takes forever to dry clothes. When the drying cycle ends, the clothes are still quite damp. It's a gas dryer and the dryer seems to be getting gas since it does eventually dry the clothes...

How long are the vents? do they go for miles in your house?(sarcasm) Does the dryer have good ventilation? Check the vents again and make sure it is clear.

It take 4 cycle to v dry towels or jeans then

Remove all air restrictions and clean out the lint chute. I am supposing you have already done so. Since it does heat a little I am thinking the ignitor flame sensor and fuse are all good. So that leaves these operating coils.7942d84.jpg With a little age they get iffy. Feel the coils if one of them is very hot that is the bad one. In rare cases this flame detectoref9f9ec.jpg will work and then take fifty forevers to work again. The bi-metal gets brittle and takes longer than the norm to cool down and close for ignitor operation.
Lets review: The power comes from the closed control689f826.jpg and limit.fdc9a7a.jpg
the ignitor hogs all the juice and gets screaming hot till the flame detect opens and kills power to the ignitor. This frees up juice for those pesky inter-mittant coils to energize. Any of the above componets are wank and she don't dry right.ffc3f7f.jpg

Frigidaire AEQ8000 dryer doesn't completely dry clothes

1. Gas valve coilsIgniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or three) if found defective.

Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.

2. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

3. Igniter
Igniter may burn out or break. Replace the igniter if found defective.

Note: Igniters are very fragile and break easily. It is recommended to handle the igniter only touching the ceramic part of it (usually white in color).

4. Flame sensor (or radiant heat sensor)
Replace the sensor (located near the igniter) if found defective.
