Question about RCA F25216BC 25" TV
Your TV must be equipped with AV inputs (RCA jacks - yellow, white, red)
in order to connect this unit. If your TV does not have AV inputs, you will need a RF Modulator to connect the DVD recorder to your TV's
antenna/cable input. RF Modulators are available at
major electronics retailers such as Radio Shack or Wal-Mart and allow the 3 RCA outs from the recorder to connect to the RF modulator RCA inputs and then you can connect a coaxial cable from the modulator to the TV RF input and select channel 3 or 4 on the TV. The DVD recorder will not pass thru signals to the TV using coaxial cable as far as DVD are concerned.

I got an RF modulator but instructions was stating to set the TV to channel 3 or 4 and other than the remote channel selector it doesnt have that option. When I hook everything up and turn the DVD on the modulator lights up but the screen just gets fuzzy and no signal comes through. I got Philips Stereo RF Modulator and tied the incoming coax to it and an output coax to the TV. I patched using RCA cables from the DVD player to the RF modulator. Now the RF modulator has a channel 3 / 4 toggle but neither seems to work.
Connect incoming coax to the DVD recorder's RF input so that you can use its tuner. Connect another coax cable from DVD recorder RF out to RF modulator's RF input and another coax from RF mod RF out to the TV's RF input. Connect 3 RCA cables from DVD recorder's 3 RCA outputs (yellow, white, red) to the RF mod 3 RCA inputs. Your TV needs to be on channel 3 and the RF modulator needs to be on channel 3. Simply tune the TV as normal to channel 3. Use remote or buttons on TV itself (channel up or down)
Depending on your RF modulator model, you also may have to select the input for the DVD recorder by pushing a select input button on the RF modulator for that input. If you only have one set of RCA inputs on the RF mod (yellow, white, red) then you may not need to select an input.
you might try also putting in a DVD turn it on and then reprograming your TV itselt so it may pick up the channel
