My remote stopped working and my tv is stuck on video 2. Is there a way to get it back to a regular screen without the remote? when i go to the menu button it only allows me to change the language or the tv settings such as brightness, tint etc.

There should be a button on the TV "INPUT" press to change sources. It should be on the front lower center of TV, slide panel to expose if required. Put new batteries in remote.

Hi,, today i got the solution for the problem 'Tv Stuck On Language Screen" I have Skyworth Lcd and it was stuck on Language screen 4 days back, i've tried every sigle App and Different Universal Remotes and buttons on Tv but nothing was working except a single App named "SURE UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR TV" i suggest if someone face this Language screen stucking problem and no buttons and remotes are working then you should download this App on your Cell phone and select your tv and you'll surely be able to restore your Tv.
Well see if there is a video button on the front part of the tv then if not I would return it and buy a tv from a reputable seller then or you can buy a remote for the tv from an electronics store and have to setup the remote so that it can work for the tv.
To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.
go up to your TV and go into the menu. Go to the channel selection and run the auto select for channels. This will take some time but the TV will end off the first channel found, the only thing is you cannot get back into video mode without the remote
