My Whirlpool Inglis gas dryer begins hot, but then just looses heat along with a funny kind of jingling sound. What is going out?

My Inglis gas dryer has the wiring diagram glued to the inside if the lower front panel that is removed to access the motor and gas burner area.

you will need to change the coils on top of the gas valve.

It sounds like you have an intermittent gas valve. The ignitor is calling for heat however the gas valve doesnt want to open.

Make sure you turn off the gas and unplug before replacing.

Check for leaks after you reassemble.
