Clean TD sensor and laser unit
I repplied already about 390 error, check other posts, But PLEASE, do yourself a favor, NEVER or KEEP AWAY water from laser motor! !Error 320 (oh yes, its laser motor alright!),means the laser (or hexagonal motor) did not reach (during a cert amount of time, pre established), the perfect running speed. The speed is controlled by the board in wich the motor is planted, so you have already two major suspects. I deal with this problem many times and the best solutions so far are the follow:
Remove the Lock pin (a black plastic piece near the hexagonal motor rotor bottom), and extract the rotor. Clemble it agaan it with a dry clothe, the spinning axel and the six mirrored faces.e Careful not to scratch them or touch with bare hands, they are (six) mirrors, right?
Now, before you assemble the "thing" again, you wanna may give a sniff of liquid parafin (not any other lubricants as they slow the motor, we are not dealing with diesel engines), gotcha? Just a SNIFF!
Ah, you wanna may look at the all mirrors around and clean them softly (with a cottonnete) but gentle, we dont want a mirror out of alignment. Put it all togheter and give it a try,if not working, you need a new laser motor kit. Dont forget you should
perform a reset(to code 320) to let the machine know you are going for a a new try( some machines assume this.
If things come up ok, you must realign the laser in service mode as you disturbed the laser path (alignement). Come to me if you need to know how to do this. PS Water doesnt go with metal! Elementary, no?
Please clean the td sensor.FOR THE 390 ERROR.
THIS SENSOR IS JUSTV ABOVE THE DRUM UNIT .REMOVE THE PHOTOCONDUCTOR UNIT BEFORE CLEANING THE UNIT .
FOR THE 320, REMOVE THE LASEWR AND WASH WITH CLEAN WATER AND A POWDERED DETERGENT , RINSE WITH CLEAN WATER UNDER HIGH PRESSURE AND DRY UNDERV THE SUN FOR ABOUT TYWO HOURS .
FIX THE LASER AND THE PHOTOCONDUCTOR BACK AND POO9WEWR THE MACCHINE AND THE ERROR WIIL NOT APPEARSAGAIN.
GOOD LUCK AND BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN DONING THIS.
