My emachines monitor quit working. Manufacture date is April 2009, I believe I purchased it in the fall last year. Just went black one day. When I restarted the computer, I saw two screens during the boot process, nothing out of the ordinary. But when the computer got to the Windows log in screen, the monitor went black again. I called eMachines and they said "oh, sorry, not under warranty anymore". The tech did advise on how to "reset" the monitor to see if that would fix the problem but have not yet had time to test this. Anyone out there experience anything similar? I already bought a new monitor but I hate throwing this one away if it is reparable.

How to fix bigfix virus
This problem can be solved manually by deleting all registry keys and files connected with this software, removing it from starup list and unregistering all corresponding DLLs. Additionally missing DLL's should be restored from distribution in case they are corrupted by bigfix. To fix this threat, you should:
1. Kill the following processes in task manager and delete the appropriate files from the programs folder:
1.Bigfix
2.BIGFIX.EXE 3.Alexa
4.Alexa.exe
Run a good antivirus program and remove what is found.
