I'm not sure if this will help, but we pulled my Panasonic KX-B520 printing whiteboard apart to find out why it didn't print. After a couple of hours and much head-scratching we figured out the paper was in the wrong way around. The printer was working fine, it just couldn't print on the wrong side of the paper. Even though the diagram on the inside of the paper bin showed the the print side of the paper on the outside of the roll, this particular paper roll had the print side on the inside. Answer? Put the paper in the other way around. It works a treat.
To see which side your paper prints on, hold a match or lighter to one side of the paper and see if it goes black from the heat. One side will, and the other won't (well, it will burn, but not like the other side. Use your common sense here.) The print side of the paper should contact the horizontal metal strip at the top of the paper holder bay.
Good luck. I hope my answer works for your problem, because it's so easy to resolve.
