Here is a link to the Frequently asked question page for your lock:

I have installed your Powerbolt, but when I push the Lock Button, it unlocks? What should I do?
First remove the cover on the inside of the Powerbolt unit. On the right hand side under the batteries, you will notice that is says "Door Direction Jumper". If the cap is mounted on Prongs 1 & 2, carefully remove it and move it over so that it mounts Prongs 2 & 3. A is right handed, B is left handed.

Here's a link which tells you how to remove the cover, and reprogram the lock codes:

Quantum ENERGY PTI E10PTI The anti reverse

It isn't the anti reverse. It is actually the clutch assembly. The internal bearing only spins one way and is press fit into a gear of sorts. The anit reverse locks and unlocks the gear. The design is absurd because the internal bearing fit within the gear breaks free. This allows the bearing to spin inside the gear. The anti lock is working but the bearing is spinning inside. The part is no longer available. The new reels also have a new design.

Have all gears that work find but will not go in reverse it a 5 speed

Is this a new truck to you? Some manual's have a manual reverse lock-out, meaning you have to engage the lock-out to shift into reverse. This is usually done by pulling up on a small lever just under the shift knob.

Otherwise, the lock-out is inside the transmission and if that breaks, the transmission has to be removed to fix it.

The other possibility is that you don't have a synchronized reverse gear. It will not automatically sync with the engine speed. Try lightly putting it in reverse while letting the clutch up to the engage point, you know, right where the clutch first starts to grab.

Somehow the lock thinks that when the door is locked it is open, and when it is open, it thinks that it is closed. Did I somehow put the lock on in some reverse order? Or can I somehow program the lock...

Take the lock back off and flip the back portion of the lock so the locking lever is reversed you have that on backwards. If that doesn't work reset the lock back to factory settings and reprogram the lock!
