Does NEC VERSA LX laptop computer support wireless internet?

I have an old NEC VERSA LX laptop computer. I have no power so need to purchase a new power supply or battery, however I would only do this if the laptop supports wireless internet connection. Does this laptop support wireless internet? The serial number is 1064400009.

This is a pretty old laptop about 10 yrs. It does not come with wireless support. It probably has Windows 98 installed on it.
You might be able to set up wireless via the USB port.

You need one of these PCMCIA network adapters. The one shown in the picture above requires an adapter cable (supplied when new) that connects the card to the ethernet cable. other later types of card have the socket on the card.

A friend gave me this Nec Versa LX laptop with '98 on it. Yes I know it's old but... I wiped the hard drive and found all the RIGHT drivers for Windows 98 SE. Everything is running well except I get no...

Wipe the drive again and then install Linux Lite on it. Then everything will work fine. Be sure to install the i386 version so there won't be any compatibility issues with hardware.

Wireless Switch on a NEC Versa. How to turn on?

I think you will find a WiFi switch somewhere around the edge of ya case, move it to the other direction, OR it is the Fn Function key, and perhaps a,little wifi signal printed on a key, press them at same time to turn it on.

Hi, I'm trying to connect to a new wireless network and my laptop says I need to turn the wireless switch on, there is no such thing as far as I can work out. Its a NEC Versa Model E6200. Thanks

there should be a swich that has a simbol of a weird w by it ethir on top next to the key board or on the side

Where is internet connection and does it need an adaptor

OK sorry to say this but this laptop is ancient :( You probably don't have a ethernet port and you would have to buy an expansion slot ethernet card or usb ethernet adapter if it has a USB port.
