Can i reset the receiver functions without password ?

According to the manual listed below you can :
(1) Enter the OSD menu.
(2) To execute "Reset" function.
This resets all the user settings to default.

Press "Play" to change the "Administrator Password".
The factory default of "Administrator Password" is "1234".

RESET DATA
Use this function when you want to clear channel data and reset the password to default ("0000").
This function is to be used under any one of the following circumstances:
1. When the "Region Selection" menu does not appear on step 6 of page 20;
2. When moving to another city.
On the "INSTALLATION" page, highlight
"RESET DATA" and press the "ENTER"
button.
Select "YES" to restore to default data.

When the receiver controls are locked up you will need to perform a password reset.

That can be done one of 2 ways, you can login to your www.mydish.com account and selecting My Locks will reset all passwords and locks.

Try looking on your remote and see if you have it in TV mode maybe this will help you get your channels. Also you may need to reset your remote to your TV. look in your manual for the remote for a code for your TV also you may need to check your TV and see if you need to put it back in TV mode after you disconnected the cable.
