Hi I had the exact same problem!! I was using a 4 gig kingston memory card. I formatted the card to 2 gigs, it still had the same problem, then i erased all the movies and reformatted it again. It seemed to work fine after that. But i have requested a replacement handset anyway due to a battery problem when i turn off the phone the battery still wastes. I got a replacement today. and i also bought a 2gig micro to replace the 4 gig just incase the phone will be having the same random problems.

Everytime i access a dix movie or file on my ku990 viewty, after exiting out, the viewty cant find the memory card. So i have to restart my phone again. This is so annoying, I have a 4 gig card. i thought that may be the problem, so i formatted it to 2gig via the phone. It still has the same issue. Tried to get a firmware update via the LG website but thats a giant hassle in itself.

Hi, i have the same problem but my memory is a 1gig but the thing is i had it in my n95 nokia and then now when i put it in my lg ku990 it workes but when i open camera or a file it stops working and i have to turn off and on my phone for it to work again, and then it will do the same thing? please help is there like a memory card it needs or ?
ya i had a nokia memory card and i put it in the lg ku990 and i cant find my memory card items i tried putting the fone off and i still cant find it.and another problem i went on the internet and it went small writing how can i put it back to normal.please help
