SOURCE: have a JL audio slash 500 that isnt putting out

Yes it possible that the inputs have been damaged on the circuit board of the amp. If the amp has hi level inputs you could try running a speaker wire input to it and see if it works. You might try another pair of rca cables to.

What are DTC P0107 and P0108 for this vehicle?

Use your computer Google or whatever & type:

OBD PO107

Just learn how OBD2 Systems work, because codes
have nothing to do with installing parts

You have to know how the vehicles systems & components
work & how to test them

You only replace parts when you find a problem & a part fails
a test or data is not correct

You need knowledge & professional scan tool to even work
on any vehicle since 1981

Yes, REPLACE PCM. CLEAR DTC and RETEST.
No, P0107 is intermittent fault. CLEAR DTC. If DTC reappears, REPLACE PCM.

How to connect mixer to a crown power base 2 amp and speakers

just use the main left and right outputs of the behringer to run xlr (3 prong balanced) to 1/4 inch (looks like a big headphone plug) cables into the inputs of the crown amp. the mixer has the xlr outputs and the amp has 1/4 inch inputrs, sop the cables will have to reflect that on both ends. run the outputs of the amp (rca outputs, i believe, you may have to get a rca plug to 1/4 inch jack adapter, and then use a 1/4 inch speaker cable) to the inputs of the speakers, again, the amp has rca outputs and the speakers will likely have 1/4 inputs, so you will have to address that wil an adapter. have each speaker in its own channel.

+ positive from battery ground is of course - anywhere on body put it on last.to avoid sparks if + is powered up! U can put a link between remote and positive it should then be on. Led normally goes blue rca s need a signal from stereo make sure its a amp out or sub out not an input on stereo set all knobs to middle and if speaker is connected to amp speaker + - it should be on, try an mp3 player with jack to rca for testing a known signal.amp may have loop rca make sure its on inputs.some have high inputs too using speakers wire stick with rca

Sherwood AX-4050R Amp - faulty RCA inputs

It is rare for the actual input connectors to fail. More likely, either the solder connections need to be re-flowed, or the switching IC is defective. If you can solder, try resoldering the pins of the RCA connectors. Look closely at them and see if the PC board trace is broken. If the resoldering fails to resolve the problem, look for a switching IC with about 28 pins. It may be marked TC9163 or something similar. That will be the audio switching IC. I would change that next.

My amp use to work fine now it turns on then turns off...

Try disconnecting the RCA inputs and the speakers.

If it still turns on then off... Amplfier is faulty. Send to reputable repairer to be fixed. If not then check that you speakers are not faulty by connecting them back 1 at a time.... checking the amp after connecting each speaker...

Power acoustiks amp wont get off protection mode? how do i reset it? please help me i tried everything.

Hello nfox1987,

First you need to determine if the amp is defective or if something else is causing it to go into protection, most often a short in the sub or amp wiring.

Disconnect the sub(s) from the speaker output terminals and the RCA inputs from the head unit, and test if the amp powers up OK. If it does, the problem is in the sub(s) wiring or voice coils, or in the RCA inputs to the amp. Reconnect each one-at-a-time to determine exactly where the short is and repair or replace the defective wiring or unit. If it doesn't power up with the inputs and sub(s) disconnected, the amp itself is most likely defective.

Hope this helps.

Power on green light is on but no sound when speakers are hooked up

Light is on so suggests power, earth and remote turn on cable all ok. Now you just need to test the RCA signal and the AMP output. I take it you have used low level RCA as the input from the head unit? (two cables usually red n white although can somtimes be other colours) best way is with substitute amp n speakers etc although can be done with osciliscope or headphones. Once it is established the RCA signal is fine then you can check the speakers from the amp. disconnect them at the amp and put each of the two wires briefly to a battery, any battery will do e.g. 9v PP9 or 1.5v AA etc you should hear a pop from each speaker as you do it. that proves the speakers and wiring to them.
If there was no signal from the RCA the cables may be bad - requires testing from head unit to amp
failing that the RCA output may be reduced or turned off via a menu in the head unit
Or the RCA output from the unit may be knackered.

Sorry its a bit long hope it helps
