I can't install driver for scaner.Printer fork corectly,but scaner can't find drivers

MP160 canon printer. Flashes "E" then "4" then "2" on screen. The "alarm" light is flashing too. No paper jammed. powered on/off. Reinserted ink cartridges. Problem remains. Thank you. From Mel

This error means that you have scaner trouble, most likely the scaner is stucked, or the main logic pcb is faulty.
Try to remove copy glass and manually walk the scaner few times and put him in left position, grease it.
If doesnt help, the best way is to buy new printer.Logic board is too expensive for repair.

Can't figure out how to make the scaner work right

you can download a copy of the user guide from canon website.. and in the manual it will explain how to use the scanner..
