MOTOROLA V3M Phone not registered with Reliance network in India

I am having a Samsung Nexus SCHi515 with Verizon network( It has a sim slot)
I have taken the phone to India. I thought it could be unlocked and used in some CDMA network( Reliance) here since one of my friend have unlocked LG droid 3,(non-sim model),verizon network. But I have heard from some people that phone with sim slot cannot be unlocked and only the non sim model can be unlocked and registered with the Reliance CDMA network in India.
Is it not possible to unlock the model with sim slot?
Kindly help me out.

Phones made from Verizon don't use Sim cards.You either have to get a contract with Verizon or buy a phone made from the same network as the Sim card.

you tried getting in touch with motorola?? is data roaming on on your phone? other than that I dont really know sorry but motorola worth a try?

i have htc droid eris verizon cdma usa handset , it doesnt have a sim slot in it, i would like to use it in india for reliance, network, is it possible to unlock and use it in india, it is having s.n number and meid 14 digit number

Yes, It can be "unlocked" and you can make it work on Reliance CDMA network. I just got my phone unlocked and using it on Reliance Network. Go with a reputed dealer who could unlock it; don't try doing it by yourself. I got it done from a guy who was located in Delhi via remote access.

Sorry!!!!!!!!!!HTC EVO 4G model mobile CAN BE unlocked...But it's IN CDMA Network Lock So that Not able to UNLOCK..Basically any Mobile locked to CDMA network Cannot be Unlocked,But the HTC EVO 4G locked to GSM network means yes Easily Unlocked from the Network LOCK,get the Unlock code here
