My pioneer avh-5000dvd won't power on the red security light flashs but no power on

SOURCE: My pioneer avic n2 will not turn on,but when the

sounds like you have blown your acc fuse or your risistor on your red wire on your radio has shorted out you can bypass this wire by choping it off it dose not affect the radio ,dvd at all.

To turn demo mode off:

Ok. It's REALLY HARD so pay attention!!!!!!

Press and HOLD Voluime/mut!!! That's it! Page 14 in manual!

Yes sir for a 2006 model a Pioneer AVH P 5700 DVD I need a wiring diagram

Pioneers are all the same:

Red is ignition
Blk is ground
Orange is illumination
Yellow is battery or constant
Blue is power ant or remote turn on
Whites and greys are front spk
Purple and green is rear spk

I wired up a pioneer avh-p4200dvd and now it won't

1. Disconnect the light green lead at power connector form ur Pioneer Player.
2. Connect above mentioned wire to direct fuse box with steady 12 V supply.

Stereo wont turn on only red light is blinking

It sounds as if you are lacking accessory power to the unit. Insure that the red wire of the Pioneer unit is receiving 12 volts with the key in the accessory and on position.

Why does the red light blink when i take the face off my pioneer avh-p5700dvd in dash

that is the way the radio is designed. it is probably for security purposes to let a thief know the face is missing and hopefully keep him from stealing the deck.
