Hello, The firmware is on the Kodak website under, Support, Downloads. Be sure to search for your M530 model to get the proper file.

You cannot do this with the m530 itself. However, you can use a card reader to connect the memory card to your computer and use a program to piece together the files, whose data are still present on the card (providing you stopped taking photos, of course).

The best program to use is called PhotoRec and you can find it here. It's free, released under the GNU licence.

Save any photos you recover to your computer... not to the card itself.
