If it is a factory stereo, call a Honda dealer. They will normally give radio codes for free.It will also happen if the battery gets disconnected so write it down.Good luck! Greg

Stereo reset code 98 honda crv

You need the radio serial # to get the reset code from Honda. Look for a white sticker, about 1/2" x 2" , usually stuck in the glove box, or on the sides of the glove box, but it could be anywhere. It will either have a long #, which is the serial #, or 2 rows of #s, the 5 digit 1 being the radio code. Where to stick this was up to the PDI technician. Also there was a credit card sized card with the code on it that came with the owners manual. Lots of customers wrote the code in their owners manual, if you have it. With the serial #, which is also on the radio, you go to a dealer with proof of ownership, and an adviser can get you the code. Also you can register your ownership with Honda online and there is access to the code at the owners site. If you can't find the sticker, (door jam, hood, trunk, on ashtray, it can be anywhere) you will need too pull the radio to get the serial #. Good luck.

Radio Code for unlock 1999 honda CRV car

HONDA codes are not readily available from anywhere on the Internet apart from here

https://radio-navicode.honda.com

You will have to quote the car`s VIN number + other details.

If they cannot provide your code then you will have to try your HONDA Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

I got my battery changed....the radio doesn't turn on now....it doesnt say error for me to put the code in....I changed the fuse...1998 honda crv

It may be an antitheft radio, if you don't know how to fix it, call a dealership, maybe even take it there and ask, if it is a factory radio. If you have a code, just put it in to see if it works. If it is an aftermarket radio, there are sites on the web that you should be able to find to reset it. Google is your friend.

Car radio code

Hi there,

You should have a Radio code supplied with the vehicle - probably in the Owners Manual or Radio Manual. If you haven't got one you can contact Honda probably by E-Mail is best and supply them with the Engine Number and Chassis Number of the Vehicle and they should be able to provide you with the code providing the Radio is one of theirs. Hope this helps.
