check your wifi settings by turning on your wifi, instead of selecting wpa or wpe, select infrastructure and select none for password. try also dragging your wifi home network to your phone wifi icon. and check.

you can only connect wifi with open, shared, WEP 64 and 128bit authentication and WPA/WPA2.
Samsung still dont have any solution to this big issue. Been a lot lately to customer service in plaza sing, talked to the manager a lot with this problem, still NO SOLUTION. You can't even have a full refund, no change model.
You will be asked for a password only if you are connecting to a password protected WiFi network. You can set a password for your Home WiFi modem and after that you have to enter the password whenever you try to connect.
